The contents of the DOS configuration files is very much determined by personal need and personal preference. In the listing below you will see the contents of the file as it actually exists for my system. My needs are probably much more complex than those of most other people and, additionally, the DOS emulator was being used for other software besides Protel Autotrax. Consequently this example file is unlikely to suit your needs and you would be very unwise to copy it to your installation. This information is provided only for completeness in order that a full package of information is available to help you if you need it.

Your best policy might be to ignore this page until you have a question or problem that you are not making any progress with, and only then see if anything herein gives you a clue towards your own solution.
